View Absences by Employee
Review absence days, absence records and open absences for Harbor Soho across one or more reporting periods. The guide covers the read-only employee absence report, not individual absence details.
In this article
Use this report when a manager needs a quick view of absence pressure by employee at the selected location. It stays read-only: the page shows aggregated totals and does not create, edit or delete staff leave data.
The screen can show one reporting period or compare multiple periods from `Filtros`. The product labels visible in captures are `Ausencias`, `Por empleado` and `Nombre empleado`.
Before you start
- Be signed in with Harbor Demo Group and Harbor Soho selected.
- Have at least one location permission that grants report access: `reports:view`, `tpv:view`, `tpv:use`, `catalog:view`, `reservation:view` or `staff:view`.
- Have `staff_leave` calendar events overlapping the selected period if the screenshot or runtime example needs non-empty data.
- Use `YYYY-MM-DD_YYYY-MM-DD` for the optional `periods` route parameter; separate comparison periods with `~`.
Instructions
- 1.
Open the Absences report
From the side menu, open `Reportes`, then `Empleados`, then `Ausencias`. A direct link can also open `/:orgId/:locationId/reporting/employees/absences`.
- 2.
Check the active period
Use `Filtros` to review the current date range. If the link has no valid `periods` value, the app creates a default period for the current week and updates the route.
- 3.
Read the summary
Use the `Ausencias` summary to see total absence days, absence records and open absences for each selected period. Open absences are records without an end date, counted through the end of the reporting period.
- 4.
Review totals by employee
Use `Por empleado` to compare each employee. The table shows `Nombre empleado`, absence days, absence count and open absence count, with values shown per period when comparisons are active.
- 5.
Compare multiple periods
Add another period in `Filtros` to compare absence values across date ranges. The route encodes comparison periods with `~`, and the app keeps at least one period selected.
- 6.
Export on web
On web, use the export action on the summary or table to download CSV, Excel or PNG output for the currently displayed report data.
Validations and limits
- Without an organisation or location, the page asks the operator to select a location before loading report data.
- Without report access, the page shows `No tienes permisos para ver reportes en esta ubicación.` and does not run the query.
- Only `staff_leave` calendar events that overlap the selected period feed the report.
- Invalid period chunks are ignored, and inverted date ranges are normalised so the end date is not before the start date.
- If there are no matching absences, totals stay at zero and the table shows `No hay ausencias registradas para los filtros seleccionados.`
- The report is aggregate-only. It does not show absence reasons, descriptions, payloads or editable absence detail.
- Export is implemented for web only; non-web platforms show an export-not-available alert.
Expected result
The manager can compare aggregate absence pressure by employee for Harbor Soho without changing staff, calendar or reporting data.
