List Optimisable Services

Lists the public, automatic and open service occurrences Harbor Soho can use for an optimised reservation on a selected date.

In this article

Use this guide when an operator needs to choose which service the optimiser should use for a new reservation. The list is date-driven and scoped to the current organisation and location.

This action returns service candidates only. Availability slots, table options and final booking belong to the next optimisation steps.

Before you start

  • The operator is signed in to Harbor Demo Group and working in Harbor Soho.
  • A reservation date has been selected and sent as YYYY-MM-DD.
  • Harbor Soho has a timezone configured; the documentation runtime uses Europe/London.
  • The selected future day has at least one public service occurrence that is automatic and open, such as Soho lunch service when available in the runtime.
  • The user needs one of optimization:view, reservation:view or reservation-availability:view for the service-list request. Calendar visibility also depends on service:view, and starting New reservation depends on reservation:manage.

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Open New reservation

From the Harbor Soho reservations calendar, choose New reservation. The flow is scoped to the current organisation and location.

  2. 2.

    Select the date

Choose the reservation date. The app sends GET /api/app/{orgId}/{locationId}/optimization/services?date=YYYY-MM-DD and the backend interprets the date as a local Harbor Soho day.

  3. 3.

    Review services

On the Service step, review the selectable service cards. Each card represents a public, automatic and open service occurrence, ordered by start time and then title.

  4. 4.

    Choose a service

Select the required service card so the reservation flow can continue to party size, table preferences, availability and optimised booking.

  5. 5.

    Check setup when needed

Use the Optimizer test tab in Location optimisation settings when a manager needs to confirm which services are available to the optimiser for a selected date outside the booking flow.

Validations and limits

  • Internal services are excluded and should not be documented as reservable through this action.
  • The endpoint returns service candidates, not availability slots.
  • The HTTP route only accepts date; it does not expose UI filters for manual, waiting-list or completed services.
  • Invalid or missing dates are rejected before services are listed.
  • The GET list action can materialise a missing service occurrence for the selected date.
  • Harbor Soho public booking is disabled, but that does not block this internal app endpoint.
  • Do not state that reservation:manage alone is enough for the service-list request.

Expected result

The operator has selected a valid optimisable service occurrence and can continue into availability search and reservation creation.
