View the TPV floor

Open the TPV Tables tab for Harbor Soho to review the active service floor plan, table availability, assigned reservations, open tickets, payment states, joined tables, zoom controls and the legend.

In this article

The TPV floor view gives floor staff and managers a live read-only view of the service room before they choose the next action. It combines the active service, the resolved layout, reservations, assigned tables and open tickets into one operational plan.

From this view the operator can open an active ticket, inspect a reserved table or select free tables to create an account. The floor view itself does not write data until the operator follows one of those table actions.

Before you start

  • Harbor Demo Group and the Harbor Soho location context must be selected.
  • The operator must have permission to use the TPV for the location.
  • An active service session must exist; without one, the TPV prompts the operator to open a nearby scheduled service or a manual service.
  • The active service must resolve to a floor layout from its occurrence or event payload, or from the default layout.
  • If employee access is configured as PIN, selector or card, Olivia Hart or another authorised employee must be selected or authenticated before the workspace appears.

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Open the Tables tab

From Harbor Soho, open `/:orgId/:locationId/tpv?tab=floor`. The TPV workspace opens with the Tables view selected; if the tab parameter is missing or invalid, the TPV falls back to the floor view.

  2. 2.

    Confirm the service is active

Check that the floor plan appears for the current Harbor Soho service. If no service is active, use the service prompt to open the nearby calendar service or start a manual service before continuing.

  3. 3.

    Read table status

Scan the zones and table cards. Tables can appear as Free, Reserved, Occupied, To pay or Paid. Reserved tables show guest context such as party size and arrival timing, while ticket tables show operational duration and payment state.

  4. 4.

Use zoom, fit and legend controls

Use the floor controls to zoom or fit the plan when the room is larger than the screen, and use the legend to confirm the meaning of table colours, states and joined-table connectors.

  5. 5.

Open the table context when needed

Tap a table to continue. A table with an active ticket opens the TPV ticket detail, a reserved table without a ticket opens the reserved-table modal, and one or more free tables can be selected to show Create account.

Validations and limits

  • The route needs both organisation and location context, and the TPV workspace only loads for users with `tpv:use`.
  • Accepted TPV tabs are `floor`, `free`, `orders`, `fast`, `reservations` and `summary`; any other value falls back to `floor`.
  • The operational floor is not shown without an active `service_session` and a resolvable layout.
  • The layout is selected from the active occurrence or event payload first, then from the default layout if needed.
  • Closed and void tickets do not occupy a table, and cancelled or no-show reservations are excluded from the reservation map.
  • Table state priority is partially paid, paid, active ticket, active reservation, then free.
  • Only free tables can be selected for Create account, and the party size must be a positive integer.

Expected result

The operator has a live TPV floor overview for the active Harbor Soho service and can move directly into ticket, reservation or create-account actions from the relevant table.
