Invite users to a location
Add existing directory users to Harbor Soho from the location access area. Antylogic sends the selected invitations, records each location membership as invited, and refreshes the user list so managers can confirm the result.

Use this guide when a person already exists in the organisation directory and needs access to Harbor Soho. This action does not create a new account from an email address, and it does not assign roles or permissions.
The invite modal searches the organisation directory only after text is entered. Candidate lookup also depends on organisation-scoped permissions, even though the membership being created belongs to the selected location.
Before you start
- Harbor Demo Group is selected as the organisation and Harbor Soho is the active location.
- Your account can view and manage users for the location.
- Your account can search the organisation directory and view accepted organisation users.
- The person you want to invite already exists in the directory.
- You have a name or email search term for the target user.
Instructions
- 1.
Open the Users tab
Go to Harbor Soho location access and open Users. Check the existing list before inviting, because users already visible in the current page are not offered again in the invite picker.

Open Invite user
Select Invite user. The Invite users modal opens with a search field, selected and available counters, and the location-specific organisation membership filter. No candidates load until you search.

Search and select users
Type part of the existing user name or email, then select one or more available matches. The confirmation button updates with the selected count, such as Invite (1). New email addresses and internal identities cannot be selected here.

Send the invitation
Select Invite. Antylogic sends the selected user IDs with invited status. If the user already belongs to Harbor Demo Group, it creates or reuses a Harbor Soho location invitation. If the user has not accepted the organisation yet, the organisation invitation takes precedence.

Confirm the invited row
Return to the Harbor Soho user list after the modal closes. The selected user should appear with Invited status. Assigning roles or permissions is handled separately.
Validations and limits
- The Invite user action is only visible when the signed-in account can manage users for the location.
- The modal confirmation remains disabled until at least one user is selected.
- On success, the modal closes, the list refreshes, and the success toast says Invitations sent.
- If the request fails, the modal stays open and an error toast explains that the users could not be invited.
- Bulk invites are processed user by user, so check the refreshed list before retrying after any partial failure.
Expected result
The selected existing directory user is recorded as invited for Harbor Soho and appears in the location user list with Invited status. No account creation, role assignment, or permission assignment is performed by this action.
