Download the reservation QR

Download a browser-generated PNG of the public reservation QR for Harbor Soho. The QR encodes /{orgId}/{locationId}/booking, requests the file name Harbor Soho-qr.png in the GB demo, and does not change or store public booking settings in Antylogic.

Use this guide when a location team needs a local PNG of the public booking QR for print, counter signage, menus or sharing workflows. Antylogic generates the image in the browser from the Public URL shown in the Public web settings card.

The generated QR points to /{orgId}/{locationId}/booking. The /reservar route still works as an alias for the public booking page, but /booking is the URL produced for the downloaded QR.

Before you start

  • Harbor Demo Group and the Harbor Soho location are selected in the app context.
  • The Public web tab is available at /:orgId/:locationId/location/optimization-configs?tab=public-booking.
  • The user has reservation-automatic:use for the location, plus location:view or location:manage to load the settings.
  • The action is run in the web app. Native runtimes show Download unavailable for QR downloads.
  • If guests will use the QR, the public booking website must be enabled and the plan must allow automatic reservations.

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Open Public web

    Open the location reservation settings for Harbor Soho and select Public web. This tab contains the publication status, Public URL, warning settings and the Reservation QR card.

    Review the Reservation QR

    Check the QR status, the QR image and the Public URL before downloading. The QR can be prepared while publication is disabled, but guests can only book through it when the public website is enabled.

  3. 3.

    Download the PNG

    Press Download PNG on the Reservation QR card. The browser exports the QR image locally and requests a download named from the location, for example Harbor Soho-qr.png.

    Keep the downloaded file

    Use the downloaded PNG outside Antylogic for print or sharing workflows. Antylogic does not save this generated QR file, so the browser download is the reusable copy.

Validations and limits

  • reservation-automatic:use controls whether the Public web tab is visible for the selected location.
  • location:view or location:manage is required to load the location settings; location:manage is not required just to download the QR.
  • On web, the QR value is built from the current origin plus /{orgId}/{locationId}/booking.
  • The Download PNG button is disabled if the public URL cannot be calculated.
  • The download requires browser APIs and QR toDataURL export; native runtimes show Download unavailable with QR download is only available on web for now.
  • On success, the app shows QR downloaded with the message The QR has been downloaded as PNG.
  • The action does not change public_booking_enabled, table preferences or public booking warnings, and it does not create a backend file record.
  • Invalid file-name characters in the location name are replaced before the .png download name is requested; the browser may still adjust the final name if a file already exists.
  • The QR card appears below the Public URL and points to the same calculated link for the location.

Expected result

The browser has a local PNG of the Harbor Soho reservation QR ready for print or sharing, while Antylogic settings and backend entities remain unchanged.
