Request your own attendance correction

An employee requests a correction for their own attendance from My profile, records the corrected entry and exit time, and leaves the shift pending manager review.

In this article

Use this guide when the signed-in employee needs to correct their own attendance at Harbor Soho without asking a manager to create a shift manually.

The request is limited to the employee's linked staff profile. It records a pending correction for review, not a manager correction for another employee.

Before you start

  • Harbor Demo Group and Harbor Soho are selected.
  • The signed-in user has Olivia Hart linked as their staff profile at Harbor Soho.
  • The My profile attendance section loads successfully and is visible.
  • The corrected entry and exit form a valid past time range; the exit cannot be in the future.

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Open My Profile

Open the staff profile without choosing another employee. Antylogic loads Olivia Hart's own profile and shows Attendance this month when attendance is visible.

  2. 2.

    Start The Request

In Attendance this month, choose Request correction. The correction form opens for Olivia Hart, with the employee fixed to the signed-in user's linked staff profile.

  3. 3.

    Enter Corrected Times

Enter the corrected date, entry time, and exit time. For the GB demo runtime, a past range such as 3 June 2026, 09:00 to 17:00 keeps the request valid.

  4. 4.

    Submit The Correction

Choose Request correction. Antylogic sends the self-service request and shows the saved confirmation when it succeeds.

  5. 5.

    Confirm Pending Review

After success, Antylogic refreshes the user's attendance data and returns to My profile. The correction remains pending for manager review.

Validations and limits

  • If the organisation, location, or linked staff profile is missing, the correction action is not available.
  • The employee field is fixed in this self-service flow and cannot be used to select another staff member.
  • The entry and exit must be parseable, the entry must be before the exit, and the calculated exit must not be in the future.
  • The form currently supports corrected entry and exit times only; it does not collect a reason, comment, or attachment.
  • Managers at the location with staff shift management access receive a correction request notification.
  • If Olivia Hart already has an open shift, Antylogic can ask for that open shift to be corrected first and keep the user on the form.

Expected result

The request creates an attendance correction with entry and exit pending review, ready for a manager to resolve from the attendance corrections surface.
