Export a report card or table
Export the structured data already visible in an exportable reporting card or table as CSV, Excel or PNG. Web downloads use the loaded report data for the selected period; native runtime currently shows an unavailable-export alert.

Use this guide when an operator at Harbor Soho needs a local file from a report card without changing business records or creating an export job.
Exportable cards expose CSV, Excel and PNG choices on web. The export follows the report period already loaded on the page and, for searchable tables, the rows currently matched by the local table filter.
Before you start
- The operator is signed in with Harbor Demo Group and Harbor Soho selected.
- The operator has location access through at least one of `reports:view`, `tpv:view`, `tpv:use`, `catalog:view`, `reservation:view` or `staff:view`.
- The reporting page has loaded cards for the selected period from `GET /api/app/{orgId}/{locationId}/reports`.
- The card or table shows the share/export control. Cards without export data do not render the export menu.
- Use the web app for real downloads. Native runtime currently shows an unavailable-export alert instead.
Instructions
- 1.
Open the report page
Go to a reporting page that contains the card or table to export, such as `/:orgId/:locationId/reporting/sales/billing`, and wait until the report cards are visible.
- 2.
Check the period scope
Use the period currently shown on the page as the export scope. Choosing a file format exports the data already loaded for that period; it does not refresh the report first.
- 3.
Open the export menu
On an exportable card, press the share/export button. The popover opens next to the card with CSV, Excel and PNG choices.
- 4.
Choose a format
Select CSV for a spreadsheet-friendly text file, Excel for an `.xls` table file, or PNG for a generated table image. The browser starts a local download using a filename derived from the report card title.
- 5.
Export a filtered table
For table cards such as products sold, apply the local search before opening the export menu if only matching rows are needed. The export follows the table's filtered rows.
- 6.
Handle native runtime
If the same export is attempted from native runtime, choosing any format shows `Exportación no disponible` and no file is downloaded.
Validations and limits
- The reports dashboard request only runs when organisation, location and reporting access are available.
- The `periods` query uses `YYYY-MM-DD_YYYY-MM-DD` values joined with `~`; invalid or empty values fall back to the default period.
- The export menu is rendered only when `ReportCard` receives export data.
- CSV quotes every cell and normalises line breaks; Excel is generated as a UTF-8 HTML table in an `.xls` file.
- PNG is generated from export data as a table image, not as a screenshot of the original report card or chart.
- When a table search is active, exported rows are filtered by the first cell in the same way as the visible table.
- The export does not call a backend export endpoint, create history, or change tickets, products, reservations, staff or invoices.
- Native runtime or any runtime without `window` and `document` shows the unavailable-export alert instead of downloading a file.
Expected result
On web, the operator downloads a local `.csv`, `.xls` or `.png` file from the report data already loaded in the card or table. The action is read-only. In native runtime, the operator sees the current unavailable-export alert.
