How to view employee holidays
Review approved and requested holiday days by employee for Harbor Soho across one or more selected periods. The report is read-only and scoped to the selected location.
In this article
The employee holidays report brings staff holiday activity into reporting. Managers can see approved days, requested days and the employees behind those totals without changing any holiday request from this screen.
Use it when planning coverage for Harbor Soho or comparing holiday demand between periods. The screen currently renders implemented report labels such as `Vacaciones`, `Dias aprobados`, `Dias solicitados` and `Por empleado`.
Before you start
- You are signed in to Antylogic.
- Harbor Demo Group and the Harbor Soho location are selected.
- For GB demo captures, use `ORG_ID=ce03dc1a-263e-4485-a12a-6301f7989bde` and `LOCATION_ID=0f927b6b-30ac-4e18-9f16-b3c7c86b0703`.
- Your user has location access through one of these permissions: `reports:view`, `tpv:view`, `tpv:use`, `catalog:view`, `reservation:view` or `staff:view`.
- To see populated rows, Harbor Soho must have `staff_vacation` calendar events inside the selected period.
Instructions
- 1.
Open the report
From the side menu, go to Reports > Employees > Holidays. The route opens `/:orgId/:locationId/reporting/employees/vacations` for the selected location.
- 2.
Choose the period
Use the period filter to decide which holiday dates to review. If no period is provided, the screen creates the current week automatically; for the GB demo capture, use `2026-06-01_2026-06-07`.
- 3.
Read the summary
Use the Holidays summary card to check approved days, requested days and employees with holidays for the selected period.
- 4.
Review employees
Use the By employee table to see each employee's approved and requested holiday days. In the GB demo, matching rows may include Olivia Hart, Mason Reed, Noah Stone or Ava Price when matching events exist.
- 5.
Compare periods
Add a period when you need to compare holiday demand across ranges. The screen adds an earlier range with the same duration and updates the route, for example `2026-05-25_2026-05-31~2026-06-01_2026-06-07`.
- 6.
Export cards on web
On web, export individual report cards as CSV, Excel or PNG. On native platforms, export is unavailable and the app shows an alert.
Validations and limits
- The report loads through `GET /api/app/{orgId}/{locationId}/reports?periods={periods}`; there is no dedicated `employee-vacations` endpoint.
- Periods use `YYYY-MM-DD_YYYY-MM-DD`; multiple periods are separated with `~`. Invalid chunks are ignored, and default periods are used if none remain.
- Only `calendar_events` with `kind == "staff_vacation"` count in this report.
- Rejected holiday events and prorated holiday payloads are excluded.
- Statuses `accepted` and `approved` count as approved days; other non-rejected statuses count as requested days.
- The table columns are employee name, approved days and requested days. If no staff name can be resolved, the row is labelled `SIN ASIGNAR`.
- If no matching rows exist, the table shows `No hay vacaciones registradas para los filtros seleccionados.`
- The action is read-only: it does not create, approve, reject or edit holidays.
- The report is scoped to one location and does not aggregate Harbor Soho with Harbor Borough.
Expected result
The manager gets a read-only view of approved and requested holiday demand by employee and period, ready for staffing review without changing the underlying holiday requests.
