View the reservations calendar
Use the reservations calendar to review Harbor Soho services, private events and holiday closures by day, week, month or year. When the operator has reservation access, service cards can also show reservation counts, guest totals and occurrence status for the visible range.
In this article
The reservations calendar gives the location team one operational view of booking activity. It is scoped to Harbor Soho, so each range reflects the selected location timezone, services and exceptions rather than the whole organisation.
Use it to scan upcoming services, spot private events or holiday closures, and check reservation and guest totals when the role can view reservation data.
Before you start
- You are signed in to Harbor Demo Group with Harbor Soho selected.
- Your role can access the reservations calendar through the reservation or service permissions used by this surface.
- The selected date range contains service, private event or holiday-closure calendar entries.
- Reservation counts are complete only when the role can view reservations and the matching service occurrences and reservations exist for the visible range.
Instructions
- 1.
Open the calendar
Open the Harbor Soho reservations calendar. For GB demo captures, use the week containing SERVICE_OCCURRENCE_START so the Soho lunch service appears instead of an empty current period.
- 2.
Choose the range
Switch between day, week, month and year, then use date navigation or Today to move through operating periods while keeping the same Harbor Soho context.
- 3.
Read service cards
Review service cards such as Soho lunch service. A card can show the service title, reservation count and total people booked when occurrence IDs and reservation records are available.
- 4.
Recognise event types
Use the calendar to distinguish reservation services, private events such as Private tasting evening, and holiday closures such as Peak season blackout. Services can be coloured by state, including completed, full or waiting-list services.
- 5.
Refresh or continue
Refresh when the team expects recent booking changes. Opening a service occurrence, private event or holiday closure leaves this viewing action and follows the related detail or calendar-event behaviour.
Validations and limits
- The calendar requires a selected organisation and location; if either is missing, the app shows a missing-location state and does not load calendar data.
- If the operator cannot access the page, the app shows a permissions message instead of the calendar.
- Only day, week, month and year are supported modes; invalid date parameters are ignored and the app falls back to the current date.
- The visible range is calculated in the selected location timezone, Europe/London for Harbor Soho.
- The reservations preset only displays service, private_event and location_vacation calendar entries.
- Reservation occurrence metadata and reservation records require reservation:view access. Without it, service events can still appear when service permissions allow them, but full counts may be unavailable.
- Reservation counts exclude waitlist and cancelled reservations when reservation records are loaded.
- The New reservation button is only enabled when the operator can manage reservations.
Expected result
The team can scan reservation services, private events, holiday closures and service-level booking totals from the Harbor Soho calendar without changing location context or modifying data.
