Create a reservation from the table board

In this article

Before you start

• The operator is working in Harbor Demo Group at Harbor Soho on a reservation occurrence with a floor layout and configured tables.
• The operator can open `/:orgId/:locationId/reservations/:occurrenceId` and view the occurrence detail.
• The Timeline tab is available and the table board is visible. In the current capture flow, this tab is labelled `Cronograma`.
• The operator has `reservation:manage`; saving the new customer also requires `customer:manage`.
• The occurrence is not in waiting-list mode, not completed, and not in the automatic open future branch if the expected outcome is the manual prefilled editor.
• There are no unresolved temporary assignment changes on the board, or the operator is ready to apply or discard them first.

Instructions

   Open the table timeline

   Open the Harbor Soho reservation occurrence and switch to the Timeline tab. Use this board to review table rows, time slots, existing reservations and table availability before starting a new booking.

   Select an empty slot

   Press and hold an empty cell on the desired table row. Drag along the same row if the reservation should cover more than one slot. The selection defines the table, start time and end time for the reservation.

   Resolve temporary board changes

   If Antylogic shows the temporary-changes warning, choose whether to cancel, continue without applying those changes, or apply them before opening the reservation editor.

   Review the prefilled editor

   In the manual branch, the New reservation editor opens with the selected time, duration and table mode already set. For this action, Table mode should be Assign tables and the selected table, such as T2, should already be selected.

   Save the reservation

   Enter the customer name, phone and party size, then save. Antylogic creates the customer and creates the reservation on the occurrence using the selected time, duration and table assignment.

   Confirm the refreshed board

   After saving, the editor closes and the occurrence, reservations, customers and table assignments refresh. The new booking should appear on the timeline in the selected table row.

Validations and limits

• Users with view-only access can consult the board but cannot start creation from a table cell.
• The board cannot start this action if the occurrence has no loaded layout or no configured tables.
• Selection cannot start on a table that currently has an active ticket.
• Selection is unavailable while another reservation is being edited on the board or while unresolved assignment drafts are pending.
• In waiting-list booking mode, creating from a table cell is disabled.
• Customer name and customer phone are required before saving.
• Party size must be greater than zero, and duration follows the configured slot interval.
• For Preferred, Required or Assign tables, at least one valid selected table must remain selected.
• Completed occurrences and waiting-list occurrences cannot receive a normal table booking through this flow.
• In the automatic open future branch, the optimisation modal opens and the board-selected `start`, `end` and `tableId` are not passed into the manual editor.
• No verified overlap rejection was found for manual creation with `table_ids`; operators should rely on the timeline and availability cues before saving.

Expected result

The customer and reservation are created, the selected table is stored as a fixed manual table assignment for Assign tables mode, the occurrence optimisation cache is marked stale, and the refreshed board shows the booking in the selected table row.
