Mark Acceptance Complete

Close confirmed booking intake for one Harbor Soho service occurrence while keeping existing reservations unchanged and the waitlist or reopen path available where applicable.

Use this guide when a Harbor Soho operator needs to stop new confirmed bookings for a single Soho lunch service occurrence. The action is run from the occurrence detail settings menu and changes the selected occurrence from open to completed.

The change applies to one calendar_occurrence only. It does not modify the recurring service, recurrence rules, or existing reservations.

Before you start

  • You are signed in with Harbor Demo Group selected and Harbor Soho as the active location.
  • Open /:orgId/:locationId/reservations/:occurrenceId with BOOKING_DETAIL_OCCURRENCE_ID in the GB demo runtime.
  • The occurrence detail loads the service occurrence and its event successfully.
  • The occurrence is currently open. If it is already completed, the menu shows Permitir más reservas instead of Marcar completo.
  • The operator has reservation management permission for Harbor Soho so Configuraciones is enabled.

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Open the occurrence detail

    Go to the Harbor Soho reservation occurrence detail for the Soho lunch service. Confirm the page loads the selected occurrence and that the action is being applied to this occurrence, not the recurring service as a whole.

  2. 2.

    Open Configuraciones

    Select Configuraciones in the occurrence header. When the occurrence is open, the menu shows Marcar completo with the description Bloquea nuevas reservas confirmadas y deja solo lista de espera.

  3. 3.

    Mark the occurrence complete

    Select Marcar completo. The app closes the menu and submits the change immediately without a confirmation modal. Wait for the page refresh to finish.

  4. 4.

    Confirm the completed state

    Check that the header now shows Completo. Reopen Configuraciones if needed: Marcar completo should be replaced by Permitir más reservas.

Validations and limits

  • Configuraciones is enabled only when the operator can manage reservations and no other submission is in progress.
  • The app does not call the update route if the occurrence is missing, the occurrenceId is missing, or the operator cannot manage reservations.
  • The frontend sends acceptance_state as completed for the selected occurrence; the backend accepts only open or completed values.
  • If the update fails, the app shows the fallback error No pudimos actualizar el estado del servicio.
  • New confirmed reservations are blocked for this occurrence after completion; existing reservations are not created, edited, cancelled, or moved by this action.
  • The GB runtime provides BOOKING_DETAIL_OCCURRENCE_ID but no stored acceptance_state snapshot, so capture runs must verify or prepare the open state first.

Expected result

The selected Harbor Soho reservation occurrence is marked complete. New confirmed bookings are blocked for that occurrence, the reverse action Permitir más reservas becomes available, and existing reservations and the recurring service remain unchanged.
